Karin Macher is iGlobenews’ Video Editor.
Karin Macher graduated from the Vienna Film Academy in production. Her professional experience since the early 90s ranges from handling large commercial projects, such as ORF main evening series, ORF news and magazine department in the field of disposition, to the creation of sophisticated low-budget productions, such as Gute Arbeit, produced for the context of the migration exhibition “Gastarbajteri” in Vienna in 2004. She has been teaching at the Vienna Film Academy since 2002 and has been studying at the Rosa Mayreder College since 2010. She regularly works on inter-university projects on various topics, such as content made for mobile or architectural mediation. In 2005, together with Brigitte Weich, she founded she base 05, a home base for professionals working in the field of art, film making and other community work.
